UK Speed-Typing Tournament Finally Settles "iPhone vs. BlackBerry" Debate
London, January 28th, 2010
Finger Frenzy World throws down the gauntlet with one deceptively simple question: How fast can YOU type the alphabet? Zattikka's hit flash game made a big splash on iPhone, and now BlackBerry users can join in the action. Finger Frenzy World is now officially available for purchase in the BlackBerry App Store. Battle friends for the title of Fastest Thumbs in the World - with online leaderboards plus Twitter connectivity, it's easy to keep tabs on the competition. Finger Frenzy World is not only fun, it can raise players' typing skills to awesome new levels.
Last week, Zattikka held a competition at Vibe Bar in London to give nimble-fingered players a chance to prove their speed-typing mettle. The winners posted commendable times and took home the coveted Finger Frenzy World trophy, while everyone received performance-boosting finger sweat bands. Top typists included Christopher (5.615s, iPhone), Kayta (6.364s, BlackBerry), and Steven (3.153s, Laptop). The laptop competitors had a clear edge, but the iPhone and BlackBerry battle got pretty heated.
Meanwhile, the Finger Frenzy World site remains hotly competitive. Patrons at the Vibe Bar event would have been put to shame by the online leaders who consistently post scores in the sub two-second range. If you don't have a BlackBerry or iPhone, you can always compete in Finger Frenzy World using your computer.
Finger Frenzy World is a game for everyone, from young kids to ex-typewriter veterans. While simple, the addictive little game is so quick to play that it's easy to go for "just one more round." Plus, the game is a stealthy typing trainer. By playing Finger Frenzy World regularly, email and texting speeds are bound to improve as the keyboard becomes second-nature.
