Job Description

Zattikka is seeking an experienced, self-motivated IT engineer to help guide and build out their Group wide IT infrastructure covering the US, Europe and China.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Work to setup standardized IT policies and procedures across the group
• Implement technologies to support those standardized policies and procedures where required
• Assume responsibility for the ongoing management of our group intranet based on Confluence
• Ongoing management of our group ticketing infrastructure based on JIRA
• Ongoing management of our group storage solutions using Amazon, ownCloud and SVN
• Manage the security of our group wide internal IT infrastructure
• Manage the group IT assets including backup and recovery
• Work with the Head of Group Operations to build out the IT Support team and a unified help desk that operates across the Group
• Work with the Head of Group Operations to centralize the administration and planning of the IT budgets across the Group
• Manage the Group communications infrastructure including email, IM, voice and video services

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years working as an IT Engineer within small to large scale organisations
• Must be very hands and competent within Windows, OSX and Linux (Ubuntu) environments
• Must have a solid working knowledge in the use of Amazon Web Services to support IT infrastructure operations for the group
• Must have a solid working knowledge of Google Apps (specifically email and docs)
• Must have demonstrable knowledge of cloud based storage solutions (e.g. Dropbox, ownCloud)
• Must have a working knowledge of VPN solutions
• A working knowledge of how to integrate the IT operations of a team in China with overall Group operations is considered a significant advantage
• Experience with Microsoft Exchange Server, Sharepoint and Dynamics a plus
• Bi-lingual is a significant plus - specifically English and Chinese

• Length of Assignment

  For those applying on a contract basis, the initial assignment will be for 6 months with an option of extending or going permanent.
