Job Description

Concept Art House (CAH) is seeking a talented IT engineer for a part-time support position. The role will focus on the support of the IT infrastructure used by the CAH San Francisco office. Coordination and communication will be required with the overall Zattikka Group IT engineering team in Austin, TX as well as with the sister CAH IT team in Shanghai.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Maintain the San Francisco office IT infrastructure on a day to day basis: hardware, software, network and related equipment, including upgrades and purchasing
• Assist in the construction and maintenance of new IT infrastructure (intranet, security mechanisms, backup/recovery services, shared storage services, Cloud storage, etc.)
• Maintain server, router and firewall equipment; troubleshoot and resolve error messages quickly
• Interface with Shanghai office; provide English/Mandarin technical translation

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment and possess excellent teamwork skills
• Competency in Microsoft and OSX operating environments, including Windows Server 2003/2008
• Experienced in Enterprise network management
• Knowledge of AD, DC, DNS, FTP and web maintenance
• Knowledge of Linux platform and programs (VSFTPD, SVN, MYSQL
• Experience managing ESX, MPLS private line and polycon system
• Bi-lingual (English and Mandarin) required

Length of Assignment

Part time: 15-20 hours per week.
